Mojo Monday Sketch

Here is my entry for today's Mojo Monday challenge. I don't have the Nestibilities yet, so I couldn't put the scallop circle on the outside. So I put one inside my circle. To see the sketch for the challenge click here: http://mojomonday.blogspot.com/
Have fun!

A Little Birdy Told Me

Here's my entry for today's SCS challenge, "Ways to Use it." I used an Impress stamp and the saying is from Hero Arts.

Eastern Blooms

Here's my submission for the Splitcoast Stampers sketch challenge on Wednesday. I love this Eastern Blooms stamp set and used a designer paper that coordinates with it, but is retired.

SCS Color Challenge

For this challenge, we were to use Pink Passion, Chocolate Chip and Kiwi Kiss (or Old Olive). I CASEd this card from one in the Stampin' Up! catalog.

Crimped Envelope Pocket Card

Here is my first SCS challenge card. We used an enveloped that we cut the top off and then, after stamping, crimped the bottom. It was really fun to dust off the old crimper and create something new with it. I see a lot of these in my future.

Altered Wall Hanging

These are two old windows I bought at an estate sale for $10 each. I love old things. The crosses I found at Fred Meyer for $7.99 for all three. The expensive part were the rub ons...I actually can't remember exactly how much they were. They are from Uppercase Living and I think around $23. So here's the "art" in my entryway for at little more than $50!

New Purpose for an Old Frame

Painted Rocks ROCK!

Tic Tac Party Favors

Here's a better look at the tic tac party favors I made with my neighbor. All Stampin' Up! supplies. Raspberry Tart Designer Paper, Top Note Die, Pink Pirouette and Regal Rose cardstock, Regal Rose 5/8" grosgrain ribbon, big heart punch, and the dots stamp set from the Sale-a-bration catalog.

Table Decor

I needed to decorate 20 tables for a women's ministries function (and it needed to be cheap). I bought terra cota pots for $1.,19 each and spray painted them a kiwi green. I used my cricut to cut out the flowers and hearts and glued them to bamboo skewers. I also covered little water bottles with our logo for the night. Then my neighbor, Candi, and I made the tic tac party favors. The whole thing was inspired by Stampin' Up!s new Raspberry Tart Designer Series Paper. I just love it.

Home Info Clipboard

This little clipboard measure approximately 5 x 10. I have tabs for different information we like to have handy. Neighbor's phone numbers, doctor's phone numbers, emergency, friends, pizza delivery numbers, etc. We also have our cell numbers in it so I set it out on the counter for babysitters. Otherwise I have it hanging right by the phone.

Mom's Maid Service Clipboard

This clipboard I made for myself. It hangs in my office and I use it to keep track of vairous things I need to do. The paper says "Mom's Maid Service" and then in smaller print below that is my favorite part. It says "Where you pick up after yourself!" LOVE IT!

Doggie Clipboard

This is a dog themed clipboard I made for my dog trainer.

Altered Three Ring Binder

I used my favorite owl paper again.

Calendar

Here's a calendar I made. Each month has a pocket for birthday cards to send or other reminder cards, invitations, etc.

A Present!

This is a poem that my daughter wrote to me for Mother's Day a couple years ago. I'm hoping she always thinks I'm her angel because she is mine.

Little Box of Love

Here's an explosion box I made with a Valentine's theme. Check out the rest of the pictures to see how it works. It's made from 4 pieces of 12x12 cardstock and several smaller pieces of designer/patterned paper. I've made several of these for gifts and put gift cards inside the inner pockets. I also made some for the directors of a play my daughter was in. I used pictures from the play to decorate it instead of the patterned papers on the inside. And I put tags with notes from the kids in the play inside the pockets.

Box top.

Here's what the box looks like with the lid off, but still folded up.

Inside of the box. It has 8 little pockets for photos, tags, gift cards, etc.

Mom's Little Round Owl Clipboard

Does that title make it sound like a little round owl or a little round clipboard with an owl? Of course, I meant the latter. These little clipboards are the perfect size for the 3 x 3 sticky notes. We each have one with our "to do" lists on them.

Another Little Round Clipboard

M&M Clipboard for Dad

One More Lunchpail Card Box

I bought several of these metal boxes at my local scrapbooking store and decorated them. They are the perfect size for standard cards. I have made several for gifts. I make dividers for the inside with tabs that say "birthday", "thank you", "sympathy", etc or else I put the names of the months on them. Either way I fill them with card for the recipient and they love them. It works out good, because I love making them, too.

Lunchpail Card Holder

How cute is this for spring?

Enough snow for an igloo! This shows how "crafty" my husband is. He built this all by himself...pretty good for a Seattle boy

And so it begins...

My first blog and my first post...and I really have nothing to say. I will soon be posting images of all things crafty. I hope you enjoy them.
